SOPHIO - Nexpart - WHI and eBay!
Since 2007, Sophio has been the exclusive provider of business to consumer websites to WHI Solutions, Inc. We are extremely proud of this relationship and status. A special thanks to Dave Young of WHI who was instrumental in making this a reality.
For those of you new to SOPHIO and WHI, here's a little background info. WHI owns the industries largest and most successful business to business auto parts portal, known as nexpart.com. More than 300,000 buyers and sellers use Nexpart each month and it generates billions per year in sales. Buyers and sellers on nexpart include repair shops, auto parts stores, new and used car dealers, warehouse distributors and even manufacturers.
Nexpart users that want to sell to consumers use SOPHIO'S business to consumer platform.
On February 23, 2012 eBay acquired WHI. Since eBay is the largest eCommerce portal on the planet, it is fairly obvious how great this is for Sophio/WHI customers. In fact, Sophio has enjoyed a barrel full of new merchants as a result. Furthermore, there are plans to introduce all sorts of new features and functions for sellers that participate on all three platforms (b2c, b2b, and eBay's marketplace).
If you are interested in licensing the Nexpart catalog you will first need to obtain a license from WHI. Once you signup, WHI will work with SOPHIO to deliver you a state of the art business to consumer website.
